Upcoming Deadlines . . .

June 14 — International Convention registration form must be received at Headquarters prior to June 14. Convention registration fee for forms received from May 2 through June 14 is $275. On-site registration fee is $300. Educational Symposium-only registrations received May 2 through June 14 are $175 and will be $200 on site. You may complete your registration online.
August 1 — Deadline for submitting Form H-114, Annual Chapter Highlights Summary.
September 1 — Deadline for submitting articles for the December KAPPAN.
September 10 — Postmark deadline for the Annual Program Award entry form to be received by the International Vice President of your region. Entries may also be submitted via the International website.
September 15 — Deadline for 2013 Leadership Legacy Fund donations and Honor a Sister donations to be listed in the December 2013 KAPPAN.
October 1 — Deadline for making reservations to attend the 2013 AΔK-ITE Weekend activities in Kansas City, Missouri.

October 15 — Deadline for Part B of the H-128 Membership Action Plan to be received by International Headquarters.

October 15 — Deadline for filing 990-N e-postcard if your fiscal year is June 1-May 31 and your annual revenue is less than $50,000.
October 15 — Regional Mini-Scholarship application deadline for activities taking place between November 15 and May 15.

MISSION STATEMENT

Alpha Delta Kappa is an international honorary organization of women educators dedicated to educational excellence, altruism and world understanding.

PURPOSES

To give recognition to outstanding women educators.
To build a fraternal fellowship among women in the field of education which will add to their effectiveness in the promotion of excellence in education.
To promote high standards of education and thereby strengthen the status and advancement of the education profession.
To promote educational and charitable projects and activities, to sponsor scholarships, to further and maintain worthy standards in the field of education and to cooperate with worthy community programs relating to education and charities.
To contribute to world understanding, goodwill, and peace through an international fellowship of women educators united in the ideals of education.

More than 33,000 women educators around the world have discovered the many opportunities provided by membership in Alpha Delta Kappa — opportunities for recognition of their commitment to educational excellence, for personal and professional growth and for collectively channeling their energies toward the good of their schools, communities, the teaching profession and the world.

Headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, Alpha Delta Kappa has more than 1,300 chapters located in towns and cities in every state in the U.S., and around the world in Australia, Canada, Jamaica, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Membership, which is honorary and based on peer recognition, provides a wealth of opportunities for leadership development and networking through workshops, training sessions, conferences and conventions. But, perhaps the greatest opportunity Alpha Delta Kappa provides is the opportunity to make a difference.
