Making a Better World Program (MBWI) 

Purpose: 

The Making a Better World Initiative is an annual recognition program designed to promote and recognize Alpha Delta Kappa members, chapters, states, provinces or nations for outstanding contributions to cross-cultural learning and relationships and / or increasing awareness of and involvement in global issues. This optional, non-competitive initiative: Recognizes outstanding programs or projects that make a significant contribution to societies at home and/or around the world; Advances cross-cultural learning and relationship building; Encourages social responsibility; Increases awareness of and involvement in global issues; Raises awareness of Alpha Delta Kappa members' impact worldwide.

World Understanding Project

(WU)

Purpose: 

The International World Understanding Project is designed to promote educational excellence and altruism through support of global initiatives that align with Alpha Delta Kappa’s purposes and mission. This program allows Alpha Delta Kappa (AΔK) members to contribute to world understanding, goodwill and peace by supporting projects dedicated to providing education and opportunities that are designed to improve the lives of children and families in communities around the world.
